  • Scratching Noises in Your Attic?
  • Unwanted Wildlife on Property?
  • Problem Bird or Bat Infestation?
  • Digging Lawn or Under House?
  • We Can Solve It!
Many of California's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving California's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Contra Costa county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Danville animal control for wildlife issues.

Danville Wildlife Removal Tip: How To Get A Rat Out Of Your Bedroom

When they come into your house, rats prove to be some of the most annoying pests in the house. It’s even worse when they get into your bedroom. Because they are irritating and pretty good at staying hidden, you should put an elimination plan in effect as soon as you can.

Permanent Solution Approach

Before you even get into the business of rat elimination, you have to investigate and seal off all possible entry points. If you skip this step, all efforts you put into getting rid of the rodents could well be a waste of time.

Search for indications of damage, scratch marks, urine smell, faecal deposits, scampering sounds and so on. Check your roof, furniture, wall fixtures, vents and every place with holes.

Setting Traps

You can’t just open the door and ask rats to leave. Why would they? They love your space! Besides, they will only trade your bedroom for another area of your house and you don’t want to tolerate them at all. The best way is to trap them and throw them all out.

• Snap trap: will be well hidden and end the life of each rat it catches.
• Glue trap: placed in their frequent passageways to stop them in their tracks.

Less Permanent Solutions

Some people don’t welcome the idea of killing any form of life, even pesky little rats. If you want to get rid of them without ending their lives, you can use traps to cage or send rats away.

• Cage trap: will lock rats in so you can dispose of them without hurting them.
• One-way exclusion funnel: block all entry points except one which leads outside the house.

Keep Safe

No matter which eradication methods and processes you employ, make sure to never forget your safety and protection clothing. Rats and their excrement can be harmful to human beings. Make sure you have:

• Thick gloves
• Surgical mask
• Goggles
• Covered up all your skin

Dealing with rats and other rodents is not always pleasant, but they need to go. It is not only irritating to put up with them, it is not healthy. Plan and implement an eradication as soon as you can.
