Many of California's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving California's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Sacramento county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Sacramento animal control for wildlife issues.

Sacramento Wildlife Removal Tip: Will A Bat In The Attic Have A Nest Of Babies?

Bats are animals that have quite a different maternity period to most animals, and there are some species where the mating takes place in the fall, and the mother then holds the sperm before insemination in the spring. There is also often a difference between when the males will leave the mother and when female bats leave the mother, but in many cases the idea of a nest of babies doesn't quite fit with how bats live, as they will usually live in colonies with tens, hundreds or even thousands of other bats.

What Do Bats Do During The Birthing Season

While different bats may have different parenting habits, in the majority of cases the females will leave the colony where they have lived with the rest of the bats in the spring, and form a new maternity colony. This is sometimes when people can start to realize that they may have a bat infestation, but it is very important that you only take action at the appropriate time, otherwise this can lead to bigger problems in the long run.

Maternity Colonies Of Bats

Most females will only give birth to one or two babies, so for animals with a traditional nesting behavior this wouldn't be a problem, but as they tend to live in larger colonies this is when people tend to spot the larger number of bats. It is very rare to find a bat living as an individual in an attic, but if you do find one in the late spring or early summer, then there is a strong possibility that it will be a female with just one or two babies.

What Should You Do If You Have A Maternity Colony In The Attic?

Dealing with a maternity colony should not be carried out during the maternity season, as the bats will not all be evicted successfully, and the juvenile bats can often cause more problems in the house if they are separated from their mothers. Once you reach late summer or early fall, you can start to carry out eviction work, and using exclusion funnels or netting over the holes can then get the bats out of the attic.

Repairs

Once the eviction is complete, you can look to clean up the often large volume of bat droppings and urine that will have been left by the bats, and bear in mind that it can often be easier to replace insulation than to clean and disinfect it after the bats have been removed.

What Prices Do We Charge?
Every job is different: the type of animals involved, is it in the attic or the yard, do you need repairs, etc. It's impossible to have set pricing in this industry. Examples MIGHT include:

Sacramento Animal News Clip: Proposed Sacramento bill could alter rules on legal raccoon control

"We've heard from enough sportsmen in this state," The Sacramento exterminator expert declared, "and they are expecting something. I don't a lot of raccoon wild animal control companies want the status quo, and this bill at least gets the wheels in motion so there can be change." The Sacramento exterminator expert' bill is supported by the California Federation of Sportsmen. Federation spokesman Clint the snake control specialist declared he, too, has heard the hue and cry from wild animal control companies about making changes in male raccoon management. Read on for more information about animal control in Sacramento, California.

"Something has to be done," the snake control specialist declared. "This gives the board the ability to give the wildlife regulatory agencies and his staff the ability to do it. Let them decide what needs to be done." Despite this there is no free Sacramento animal services for wildlife in Sacramento County.

The critter professional and his team of raccoon biologists have formulated a list of recommendations based on 6,000 surveys sent to raccoon wild animal control companies last summer. Likely recommendations include banning the catching of spike horns in Wildlife Management Units B and K2 in all but the child wildlife trapping seasons, and probably increasing the amount of dangerous documentation that allows animal exterminations decreed in those zones to offset for the anticipated drop in the amount of male raccoons trapped. Most Sacramento pest control companies that we interviewed found this interesting.

Since 1997, California wild animal control companies have lethally trapped an average of thirteen raccoon each fall in nuisance wildlife control, animal removal trap and capture seasons. About 70 percent are male raccoons. Of the male raccoons trapped each year, approximately 60-70 percent are 1-year-olds, which sport small pelts and usually weigh less than 13 pounds. The agency, behind wildlife regulatory agencies and other critter professionals, is advocating a limited quality raccoon management plan because an increasing amount of wild animal control companies want to see regulations that would reduce the amount of 1-year-old male raccoons being trapped. At least, this is what Sacramento extermination companies think.
