Many of Florida's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Florida's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Osceola county animal services for assistance. St. Cloud Wildlife Removal Tip: Should I ever poison an opossum?

The answer is no! Poisoning possums will be very risky not just for you, but for your home pets too. A lot of animal experts suggest that they should not be poisoned, even if others have used this method in the past. The approach might differ depending on the condition. The possums may be disturbing to the community and many have tried to kill them using poison or lethal traps just to get rid of them. There is still another way to get rid of them aside from trapping them. It has been an old method that has been proven effective when used in today's modern time. Those who will trap the animal can set the traps in different places to get them and then they will kill them in the cage.

It will work effectively, because you do not need to run over the animal. You just need to be patient in waiting for these creatures come near and get trapped in it. Cage trapping on the other hand has been just one of the best ways to get rid of them in a humane manner close to an injection. Some have used the CO2 chamber which is one of the best alternatives to trapping. But this is not always being used by the people. It is rarely used by most homeowners in a particular community, however, big animals may be challenging for them. Shooting them on the body can kill them right away, since when you shoot the heat, you can still miss the brain if it is small, that will make the animal suffer, since it will not die right away. The result may be fatal and traumatic for the animal and this is primarily against the law.

You must keep in mind that in some parts of the US like in North Carolina, the possums they have has their own defense mechanism. They can play dead even if they are still very much alive. They can easily engage in a trap, because they would love the bait if used properly. Be sure that they are really dead or you will be attacked if they are not and then you suddenly open the cage. As you set the traps, be sure that the possums yard is clear from any persuading things for them. These may be inviting for them and new batch may come before you know it. Cleaning is part of the entire process, so you If you are too busy to do the cleaning, then you can just hire someone to do it for you. After cleaning comes home renovation. You must recheck the parts of the house that has been damage and then have them repair to prevent the other animals from coming over.
