Many of Georgia's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Georgia's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Gwinnett county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Buford animal control for wildlife issues.

Buford Wildlife Removal Tip:

Do Snakes Feed Their Babies? How?

Why are mothers the most respected living creature ever? Motherly love and tender care. A lot of mothers around the world goes hungry regularly for their offspring to eat. This is mostly common in all mammals and some certain animals. Do Snakes qualify to providing food for their young ones? Let's consider the following.

Female snakes produce young about twice per year. In some species babies are born alive. Other species lay eggs. Some however leads a strange means of procreation by letting the eggs stay in their bodies until maturity and gives birth to the babies. These form of birth has the highest rate of success that a snake can give birth to 150 babies at a time.

For snakes that lays egg, the egg shells are not as hard as a chicken egg, but are described to be leathery. The leather like shell makes it easier for their babies to hatch themselves once they grow a special tooth.

It has been argued that snakes do not care for their offspring. Well, consider these.

Baby snakes can and do hunt on their own from the moment they hatch. They do not require any parental care after hatching, as the ability to hunt and catch their own prey is coded into their genetics, so they don't need to be fed or to learn. The last of the yolk will keep them going straight after hatching, but they'll soon move about and hunt on their own.

Some snakes will lay their eggs and leave, some will stay and guard the nest, and there's some that don't lay the eggs until just before they hatch, but once the eggs hatch. Ask me and I will say the guiding mother has done enough in parental care. The baby snakes are on their own.

However, before birth snakes absorb the rest of the yolk in the egg right before hatching, and they can live off of this yolk for weeks if they have to. After birth, they don't feed their offspring at all. Some snakes guard their newborn offspring until the babies shed their 'egg skin' and disperse, but no species feed their offspring. A notable example is the rattlesnake family. It has been observed that the mother provides warmth and direction for neonates at 2 or 3 days old.

This is not unusual. Even some birds don't feed their offspring. Ducks, for example. The best they do is use a special call to indicate food is present. And the kiwi bird is pretty much on its own right after it hatches - they don't receive any parental care at all, after hatching, just like snakes.

As pre developed animals, it can be concluded that snakes normally do not feed their young ones neither look over their wellbeing, while certain snakes look after their young for a while and leave them to fend for themselves. Either ways, snakes are not to be held responsible for offspring feeding. Who spoon-feeds an adult capable of finding his/her food?
