Many of Georgia's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Georgia's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Forsyth county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Cumming animal control for wildlife issues.

Cumming Wildlife Removal Tip:

Do rats kill mice?

Through many discussions that have aroused throughout the world are the differences between a mouse and a rat. At first many believed they are the same species, however the size is different, while at times many believe that they are both extremely different than one another. This is why a lot of questions arose on whether rats had the ability to kill mice or not. There is much classification and justification about these questions, however lets state facts since that is always the best case to do so.

Rats do what they can do survive and adapt in the area that they are currently living in. Once they make a living inside an area or especially a home, they tend to fight for it with all they have got. This absolutely means killing other animals in the rodent family (mice).

Through many studies that have been conducted throughout the years, it has been noticed that rats kill mice partially due to the mouse's development skills. This is an astonishing murder that could occur, but as mentioned rats will do everything and anything to ensure their survival is not being jeopardized with, even if it means killing another. This most likely means that the rat may not find any food for days and since the mouse is part of the "smaller" rodent family, they would make for an easy prey. Therefore, without hesitation, the rat will consume the mouse on spot for lunch.

However, it may seem difficult at times since believe it or not but a mouse can pull up a far fight. Therefore, rats may not always take the path due to not wanting to waste all their energy on fighting the mouse to just eat it. But, if there has not been food for many, many days, then the rat will do everything in its power to make sure the mouse is the next meal on their food menu. This is implemented easily especially since it only takes one bite from the rat to kill the mouse. For the bite to be most affective, it should be taken place around the neck and head area which can cause an easy kill. Rats tend to aim for these areas since they do not want to receive a fight back from these mice; they just want an easy meal. Therefore, they aim for the killer bite that would take the mouse out from the first hit. Then they would enjoy the meal they have prepared for themselves throughout their attack skills.

Mice may not be able to eat rats or at least kill them with one bite, but as mentioned they can put up a good fight. This is why if they were most likely not killed during the first round, they may fight back hard, which is absolutely something a rat, always wants to avoid. Keep in mind, when they turn to eat a mouse, it is because they have been food deprived, thus they do not want to put more energy than what is needed.
