Many of Georgia's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Georgia's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocaton services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Peach county animal services for assistance. Fort Valley Wildlife Removal Tip:

What Should You Do If You Find A Litter Of Kittens

Finding a litter of kittens in the streets or drive way may not be out of place, if the vicinity is known to have stray animals within range. The looks of a kitten is quite calm and loving as they seem to be nave of all cat behavioral tendencies as at the small age. These kittens are definitely from a mother and needs all the care they can get. Cats are caring animals and often show much concern for their kittens, especially when they are indoor cats with caring owners. One way to train cats and kittens to be hygienic is having them stay in the pen house.

However in situations where this care is not forth coming in terms of ownership of the cats or homeless cats, the kittens should be taken care of and reported to the relevant authorities. One of the ways of caring for these kittens is to provide milk for them. This is the first meal these animals need to get, as much strength they can muster to live yet another day. In cases where these kittens have been found in a messy condition, the following steps could be adopted to ensure the survivability if the kittens.

1. Get The Colony A Temporary Shelter: This is very necessary in order to prevent the kittens from contacting diseases from garbage. The shelter could be a secluded covering using discarded roofing sheets or polyethylene bags, to form a cover to prevent them from harsh weather conditions. A used carton in the garage could be taken to the cats to dwell in.

2. A Used Blanket Or Piece Of Clothe Should Be Made Available: This helps the kittens and the mother to keep warm at cold nights. Cats are susceptible to flu and this could be disturbing to the kittens

3. Provide A Feeding Trough: As much as the mother could be a scavenger, these kittens may not have the hunting skills of the mother and would need food to survive. This feeding container helps the kittens to understand a better way of having a meal. When the mother goes hunting for a meal she would bring it home and to your amazement will drop it on the plate for the kittens to have a decent meal.

4. A Glass Of Milk Could Be Ideal: This is the first meal given to them by the mother. Milk could be provided to them, to keep the kittens from crying all the time. Kittens are quite restless, especially when they are hungry. They mew almost all day if they are not attended to and this noise could be irritating to the ears when heard continually.

5. Sort Out The Garbage: The garbage that needs to be discarded should be sorted out. The fresh food products which are meant to be thrown away should be removed and given to the kitten's colony to have a sumptuous meal.

After all these care has been given to the kittens, it is time to let the relevant authorities know about the kitten's welfare. This could help in tracing the original owner of the mother or consider a submission for adoption if the finder wishes to keep them.
