Many of Kentucky's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Kentucky's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Boone county animal services for assistance. Florence Wildlife Removal Tip: How to clean goose poop outside
If you have ever been around where geese are known to gather, you have probably become quite aware of the mess that they can leave behind themselves. When they are in a large group together they can leave a lot of poop behind, and this can be extremely hard to clean up. Getting rid of poop and the stains that it leaves behind is a great deal of work, so how do you clean up goose poop outside?

Before starting the cleaning process you will need to gather a few things together. This includes rubber gloves, a shovel and broom, a garbage bag or trashcan, a heavy-duty hose, baking soda, and vinegar.

Before you do anything, you always want to make sure that you are wearing the rubber gloves. Cleaning any kind of fecal matter can be dangerous to you because of the potential of bacteria or parasites being in the waste. Make sure that you have your gloves on in every case before starting.

Begin by gathering the poop on the shovel or sweeping it together using a broom and throw away the poop into a trashcan or garbage bag. If you are using a broom, make sure that this is one that you will not be using inside your home. It should be an outdoor broom only.

Next, used to heavy-duty hose to spray away as much of the residual waste as possible. This needs to be a powerful sprayer that enables you to be able to power wash the area where the goose poop was located.

After the ground has dried, liberally poor the vinegar across the area so that it will disinfect any bacteria that may have been left behind. This is one of the biggest concerns that you should have, because even after the waste has been washed away for the most part there still could be potential health risks involved.

You should leave the vinegar sitting for at least 15 minutes and, if you are able to, you should leave it on overnight. In the morning, rinse the area again.

Take the baking soda and sprinkle it over the affected area. What this will do is any residual waste that is left behind or bacteria that is present will be treated by the baking soda. It will also give the area a lot nicer smell than what the vinegar offers. Once again, you should leave this baking soda on overnight.

In the morning time, rinse the area one more time. By this point, all of the poop and stains should be removed, and any material that poses a risk to the health of you or your family should be gone as well.

If you do find that there is anything left, which there should not, then apply the treatment one more time. There is really no chance for there to be any other material left after a second treatment. This should ensure that the area is clean of goose poop and safe for you and your family.
