Many of Missouri's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found
that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably,
these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire
hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Missouri's
wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.
|We do not handle dog or cat problems

Jefferson City Wildlife Removal Tip: Should I hire a pro, or remove raccoons myself? If you have a raccoon in your home and you want it removed the right way, you'll hire a pro to do the job. Much like other wild animals, it's not simply a case of capturing the little beast and then setting it free somewhere in the wild. There are so many more things to take into consideration, and one of the very first things you'll need to do is your research. The Internet will need to help you a little here. You'll need to find out the current laws surrounding trapping, killing, or relocating raccoons in your state. The laws will differ dependent on where you live and if you're in any doubt, give your local city or council offices a ring. They'll be able to advise you on the laws. You definitely don't want to get yourself into trouble with the law. Legalities aside, there are other things to concern yourself with - does that one raccoon you spotted have babies somewhere? Where are those raccoon babies? Can you get to them easily? Do you have thick gloves? Do you have a cage big enough to safely contain the little family? Do you even know where a raccoon would live in the wild? What about protecting your home from further wild animal invasions? These will be things you probably won't have thought about but a professional will have done. Not just that, they'll have the necessary tools for the job - tools and equipment you probably won't have to hand. Enzyme cleaners, for example, to breakdown the threat of disease from the feces, urine, and nesting materials or other surfaces the raccoon might have come into contact with. It's easier, faster and cheaper to hire a professional. Most homeowners will tell you that.
