Many of Pennsylvania's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Pennsylvania's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We handle every aspect of wildlife control. We are fully equipped to work on any project, large or small. Some of our services include:

  • Humane wildlife trapping and relocation services
  • Removal of raccoons or squirrels from the attic
  • Building repairs and prevention work to keep animals out
  • 100% permanent elimination of rats, mice, or even bats
  • Cleanup of animal waste and odor control services
  • Emergency animal issues, and dead animal removal

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Washington county animal services for assistance. Washington Wildlife Removal Tip: DO YOU HAVE A CAGE-RESISTANT PEST MOUSE? Pest mice are known for their resistant and evasive nature. Even though they can be a potentially big problem you wont be able to see them a lot. As mice and house mice are nocturnal animals, looking for food and water at night you will see them close to never. Squirrels, on the other hand, can be spotted during the day, as they look for their food under daylight.

Pest rodents are as mentioned very resistant and have the tendency to avoid people, and therefore capturing them will take some time and persistence. First of all, you need to specify which species is in fact in your home and learn as much as you can about the pesky little pests. Learn about their biology facts, habitat and locate their path of movement. These animals are creatures of habits, once you get to know them a little bit better and learn about their habits you definitely are a step closer to getting rid of them. Before capturing the obligatory trio has to be performed: Sanitation, Inspection, and Exclusion.

Even though pest mice have some common characteristic, they also differ from one another in some ways. House mice are known to be excessively resistant and prudent when new objects are placed in their lives. It may take several weeks before house mouse will take the bait. You may also try to disguise the cage a little and make sure its big enough for the house mouse. You need to keep in mind that this will work only on house mice and not on mice. The house mouse cage is too big for mice and vice versa, a mouse cages isnt big or strong enough for a house mouse. House mice also prefer closed and shelter spaces, so you might think over buying a cage like that. A cage that offers shelter will encourage a house mouse to enter. Set as many cages as possible, otherwise, it may become cage-resistant, before getting captured.

Mice are much more curious than house mice regarding new objects on its way and would bite the cage quicker. However, they are also very rapid little creatures and learn very quickly how to avoid potentially dangerous situations; therefore, you need to be sharp and quick at capturing them as well.

Squirrels are also very demanding to catch. As usual, cages dont work very well on them, you need to force her to use your way that is leading directly towards the one-door live cage. As you determine where the squirrel is entering your house, you need to install a firm and secure one-door live cage for the animal to enter. Its the most effective cage for squirrels by far. In order to be successful in pest mouse capturing, you need to know about them as much as possible. Learn and react on their behavior during the process of trapping.
