  • Scratching Noises in Your Attic?
  • Unwanted Wildlife on Property?
  • Problem Bird or Bat Infestation?
  • Digging Lawn or Under House?
  • We Can Solve It!
Many of Texas's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Texas's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Schleicher county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Eldorado animal control for wildlife issues.

Eldorado Wildlife Removal Tip: How Do You Know If You Have A Squirrel In Your Attic?

The little creatures are everywhere; you will see them in the woods as well as in the urban or developed areas. Sometimes they even like to live in our house as they think it's a safe place and they have no danger living there. Their favourite place in your house maybe the attic and as they are a great climbers they can easily climb there and make their nest. Here are few of the signs that will help you know if there is a squirrel in the attic.

The smell of the squirrel's urine will be there in the home every time or you may even experience a foul and pungent smell that may be because of the dead squirrel in your house who must have been there for a quite long time.

These little animals are more active during the day time rather than in the night so you may hear some sounds when they are awake and crawling in their nest that is in the house. The sounds you hear will be mostly during dusk or early morning. You will hear the noise of scampering because they are comparatively bigger pest than mice or rats so the noise you hear will be louder than what other rodents make.

The nests squirrels make are a little big, a bit messy and is constructed loosely because it is made of various different materials like wood, cardboards, leaves, moss, vines, twigs, Insulation, bits of barks, papers, etc. that they usually find in homes or outside.

You can put some flour on a piece of cardboard and place it near the nest of the squirrel, one at the entrance and other at the exit or in the place where you feel the most activities of the squirrel. When they will come out of the nest and run over the cardboard, the tracks will be made in the flour by the paws. Both the rabbits and the squirrels have same tracks. When they move the rear paws will be moving ahead of the front ones. The rear paw of a squirrel has 5 toes and is longer and larger than the front paws. The paws look exactly the same as hands of the human skeleton. The front paws of the squirrels have only 4 toes and are shorter than the rear paws.

The poop identification is not easy for the owners of the house or common people who have no knowledge about the rodents. The poop can help you in indentify the type of rodent in your house. The squirrel's poop is round at the end and its shape is oblong and is the size of a small raisin.
