  • Scratching Noises in Your Attic?
  • Unwanted Wildlife on Property?
  • Problem Bird or Bat Infestation?
  • Digging Lawn or Under House?
  • We Can Solve It!
Many of Washington's wild animals have learned to adapt and even thrive in our homes. For example some wildlife have found that attics make great places to live. Other animals find refuge under homes or porches. Invariably, these animals cause damage. Rodents, like squirrels and rats, love to chew on electrical wires once in an attic, and this causes a serious fire hazard. Raccoons can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Same goes for bat or bird colonies. We specialize in solving Washington's wildlife problems, from snake removal to large jobs like commercial bat control, we do it all.

We do not handle dog or cat problems. If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local King county animal services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, spay & neuter programs, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, bite reports, deceased pets, lost pets, local animal complaints and to report neglected or abused animals. There is no free Burien animal control for wildlife issues.

Burien Wildlife Removal Tip: Snakes in the walls - how to find and remove them

It goes without saying that the very thought of a snake crawling across the walls of your house is disgusting. And as impossible as it sounds, it actually happens in many houses. Suddenly you would look at the walls and you would be taken aback, as there might be a snake lying still across the wall or worse, crawling up or downwards. A snake usually does not attack if you do not attack it first, but you never know when and why it might feel attacked. Therefore, you need to be very careful about removing the snake. Do not let the children of your family get near it. Children are usually fearless and if they start poking the snake with something, they might end up getting bitten. There are three steps with which you need to handle the situation; finding the source from which the snake is crawling through, removing the snake and get the source fixed as well.

Snakes are pretty creepy and fast. One moment, you would look at the wall and there would be a snake right there. And the next moment, the snake would disappear and isn't this the scariest thought? Do not panic, keep calm and try to find the source from where the snake might have entered. The source can be anything - vents, holes or cracks on the walls. Once you have found the source, do not fix it immediately. Buy a one way exclusion funnel and place the funnel right over the source. Next time when the snake tries to use the source hole, vent or crack to get inside your room, it will automatically enter the funnel. Then carefully take out the funnel and put the snake inside a bag or something like that to get rid of it. You can keep the bag over the funnel so that the snake automatically falls into the bag and you can zip the whole thing up and get rid of it. It is much more safe and danger free.

Now, the important question is how you would know when the snake is going to try to enter your house. I would suggest that if you have seen the snake once crawling across the wall, be sure that it is going to come back again. So, be prepared. Keep the funnel over the sources for some days, so that whenever the snake tries to come, it would fall into the trap.

You can install one of those sound devices on your wall that enhance the sound of things surrounding them. It should not be too expensive. If you place the device on the wall, you can easily hear the sound of the snake crawling across the wall. And as soon as you hear the sound, act!

Naturally, having a snake crawling on your walls is scary but try not to freak out too much . You can get rid of it by yourself without calling the wild life officials for help, if you follow the above mentioned steps. You just have to be really strong nerved and smart about the whole thing.
